Call for Abstracts & Papers
The AIVC board offers authors the opportunity for a peer review of their paper. The procedure will be twofold including 2 separate calls for abstract & papers depending on whether the authors are interested in the peer review of their papers or not.
Peer Reviewed Papers
Authors INTERESTED in the peer review of their papers (review of abstract and paper) should submit their abstracts and papers.
• Abstract Submission Deadline: January 12, 2026
• Submission of Papers Deadline: May. 15, 2026
• Final Papers’ Submission Deadline: July 3, 2026

Non-Peer Reviewed Papers
Authors NOT INTERESTED in the peer review of their papers (only review of abstract) should submit their abstracts and papers or extended summaries. (Authors can submit either a paper of 6-10 pages or extended summary of 2 pages.)
• Abstract Submission Deadline: March 13, 2026
• Submission of Papers Deadline: July 03, 2026

Call for Topical Sessions
The AIVC scientific committee seeks ideas for topical sessions organized within the conference. Proposals focusing on the main conference themes & topics are welcome.
• Topical Session Proposal (Description) Submission Deadline: January 18, 2026
• Final Topical Session Proposal (Description) Submission Deadline: May. 1, 2026
• Submission of Topical Session Papers Deadline: July 03, 2026

Upon acceptance, the Final Topical Session Proposal (Description) should be submitted as per the Topical Session Proposal (Description) Template. Papers to be presented in the Topical Session should be prepared and submitted using either the Full Paper Template or the Extended Summary Template.
Guide for Authors
1. Peer Reviewed Papers
(1) Abstract
• The abstract should be submitted by January 12, 2026
• When submitting an abstract, the abstract text can be pasted directly in ConfTool, without the need to upload a file or use a template.
• The maximum length of the abstract is 3,000 charaters including spaces.
• Abstract should exclude the title and authors information in the text box.
• The content must be relevant to the conference scope.
• The topic, the approach, and the results must be clear from the abstract.
• Abstract containing brochures or advertising material will be rejected.
(2) Full Paper
• After the abstract acceptance confirmation, the full paper should be submitted by May 15, 2026.
• When submitting a paper, the paper should follow the template which can be downloaded here, and the file should be uploaded in ConfTool.
• All papers will be in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN-number. Some papers will be selected for submitting an adapted version in journals ‘International Journal of Ventilation’ and ‘REHVA Journal’.
2. Non-Peer Reviewed Papers
(1) Abstract

• After the acceptance confirmation, the full paper (or extended summary) should be submitted by July 03, 2026.
• When submitting a full paper (or extended summary), the paper (or extended summary) should follow the template which can be downloaded here, and the file should be uploaded in ConfTool.
• All papers (or extended summary) will be in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN-number. Some papers will be selected for submitting an adapted version in journals ‘International Journal of Ventilation’ and ‘REHVA Journal’.
3. Topical Sessions
(1) Topical Session Proposal (Description)
• The proposal (description) should be submitted by January 18, 2026.
• When submitting a proposal (description), the proposal (description) should follow the template which can be downloaded here , and the file should be uploaded in ConfTool.
• A proposal (description) should include the following:
- Topical Session Title (Provisional title clearly marking the topic of interest)
- Topical Session Objectives
- Topical Session Description
- Topical Session Programme (Names of speakers and paper/summaries titles)
- Session Duration (Please indicate your preferred session duration (60, 75, 90 minutes))
- Speakers/Chairs Details (Two names of chairs)
(2) Final Topical Session Proposal (Description)
• After acceptance, the final proposal should be submitted by May 1, 2026.
(3) Topical Session Papers
• The papers to be presented in the topical sessions should be submitted by July 03, 2026.
• Topical session speakers do not need to send an abstract to answer the call
• But speakers should provide a full paper (or extended summary) using the template, which can be downloaded here to be included in the proceedings.
• Speakers must register as regular participants, but will be acknowledged as invited speakers in the conference programme.
